Under the current global economic context, university graduates are facing increasing pressure and competition in the job market, which is particularly the case for Chinese students graduating from UK or other overseas institutions. In order to prepare Chinese students for their future career development in China, the British Council China plans to organise three employability workshops in the UK from 20 November to 27 November 2009, at which Chinese students can get first-hand information and updates from HR professionals who represent major employers in China.
21/11/2009 Westminster City Hall, London 3pm - 5pm; 24/11/2009 Cardiff University 7pm - 9pm; 27/11/2009 University of Edinburgh 7pm - 9pm. Detailed venue information will be sent to registered students with the registration confirmation letters
Opportunity to hear from speakers from various backgrounds and with rich experience in human resource and graduate recruitment in China. The guest speakers will share their insights with students on career development and employability skills, especially needs and demands of current employers in China.
